HP Envy Phoenix (860-000ng)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey dear HP community.

I come here to seek your help for one of my HP PCs. I have an HP Envy Phoenix 860-000ng (ca. 2016), with wired Ethernet connection which I would like so switch on with Wake on Lan for Windows Remote Desktop Services.

I did follow the HP guide from:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04947950

However no success so far...

When I did follow the same guide on my  HP Omen X 900-153ng (ca. 2017) and it works, also I use another older non HP Linux box successfully with WOL on the same network.

Anybody knows about known problem with WOL on the Envy or anybody got it working?

Kind regards, and thanks in advance for your answers!

Jakob

Hello @kleinjakob

Does your bios have an option to enable Wake on LAN?

This was taken from a bios simulator for your series Envy.

Should look something like this...

Hopefully that helps?
