Will it install with no issues ? my pc has Intel Optane memory would it be compatible ? I made the mistake of getting just a 1 TB hard drive and almost out of disk space and need a bigger hard drive for my games . Would i need to do anything to my operating system before the install ? Is their enough room to install in the 2nd slot to have a 1TB plus the 4 TB hard drive ?

Be sure you read and understood the 3 links I sent about Optane. Whatever you do, keep that 1TB safe.
If that 4TB is not set-up for Optane properly, it will be a disaster, IMHO.

I will discuss the Optane part of this issue. Please read the following.
What is Optane How does it work If I disable (by accident) what will happen
I am not an expert on GPT partitions with WIN 10 with 4TB drives. (I only use 500GB SSD's ).
The hard drive must be formatted in GPT partitions, as WIN 10 can only boot from a partition of 2TB or less.
So, if you could clone the original hard drive into that 2TB or less partition, you should be OK. If it fails, nothing lost.
As far as the 1TB and the 4TB co-existing, you handicap my reply because you did not mention the exact model of HP Omen.
But this might help:

so if i get the WD 4TB hard drive i can partition it into 4 1 TB partitions ? i would get rid of the existing 1TB drive i have now and back up my existing files and transfer to the 4TB one . what about the bios ? and windows 10 ? would i have to re install on the new one ?
