HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0018
Microsoft Windows 11

So I have an HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0018, and I was wonder what the max capacity of ram it could hold.  I found this website https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-gaming-tg01-0018nv, but I don't know if it is correct as it says 16gb of ram already installed, but I only have 8gb preinstalled. If that website is correct, should I buy ram from it? If not, what kind of ram should I buy, and where should I buy it?
*I should also note I had previously bought this ram https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KGMBWBX?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details but when I installed it with the other ram and by itself my computer continuously blue screened.*

The specs of your machine is

                  https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06938633

And its motherboard is

                 https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06429270

which supports

  • Dual channel (1 DIMM per channel) memory architecture
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200)
  • Supports 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers

It has 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now, you can upgrade to

Regards.
