@Ervida,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

I assume your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1181 is fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767) -you can check this by typing in: System Information in your Windows search bar, clicking on the System Information app, and by looking to the right of "BaseBoard Product".

Your PC is indeed compatible with the 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800, which has these equivalent part numbers: 901759-001, 901759-003, L07304-003, and PA-4501-1

The difference may be in the manner in which the "P2" power connector is configurated.  Most L05757-800 power supplies have a standardized "red (or red/white), white, black, green, grey, empty, black" wiring scheme.  The power supply you are looking at, comes with a variety of "P2" wiring configs, mostly "empty, empty, empty, green, grey, purple, black":

However, having said this, it may not matter: a "PA-5501-2HA" may work just fine, I am just not 100% sure.  So, my recommendation is: purchase the less expensive PA-5501-2HA from a Seller who allows for returns.  If you cannot do this, or return shipping is prohibitively expensive, I would go with the 'sure-thing' option: the L05757-500.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
