Which ram slots för two 8gb modules? HP OMEN 870-124

Hi, I want to upgrade from 8 gb ram to  16 gb in my Omen 870-124. And I am wondering which ram slots should be used for 2 sticks? 2x8 gb.

In my case - and I have the same mobo - it's blue slots.

 

(My Omen came with one stick in slot #4 - I purchased a matching one and put it in slot #2. Slot numbers - as seen by CPU-Z and BIOS)

Yes you can use 2 modules of 8GB (Black slots DDR4 )

Online, somewhere in Germany, as I could not locate the matching module elsewhere and for a good price then.

 

To check your current module use CPU-Z (mine was/is SAMSUNG M378A1K43BB1-CPB).
