HP ENVY h8 PC Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I startup the PC it has a white bar at the top with a few other dots of colors. The bar has lined that haven't reached the other side as well. The line go horizontally. When I haven't turned on the PC in a while it shows the hp logo then the white bar. But if I turn it off then right back on it doesn't show the love ok just the bar. Before this happened my brother said he was playing his game then the monitor said no signal, going back to sleep. He could still hear the game. He had to turn kf and back on the PC then it worked again. About an hour later same thing . Then when he turned it on the white bar appeared. Also I installed a new gra ppl hics card the GT 1030 I had it for about 2 months and had no issues. Please help ME!

A warm welcome to HP Community!

Does the White bar appear in BIOS? Instructions on how to access BIOS can be found here

Could you also run a Video test and let me know the results. You may use the steps mentioned below Component test in this document to run a Video Test.
