Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There's these metal supports that are mounted that look like they're intended to support the GPU's weight, but I don't understand why because it's held secure by screws. I want to take them out for an upgrade but I'm not exactly sure what purpose they serve. Any ideas?

I'm guessing you're talking about the graphics card bracket on the other end of the tower that supports a big card?

Its mainly there for shipping purposes to keep it from breaking out of the PCIe slot.

You don't have to use it, but its nice to have for the extra support.

 

If you mean something else, post a picture of it.
