Hi @Cilas

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Chances are you have purchased incompatible RAM. But try reseating the new memory modules to be sure.

It is not good to mix RAM modules from different manufacturers.

I would look at Crucial memory upgrades for your PC. Check this Site for compatible memory for your MB.

Hi @Cilas

I have been directing folks in this Forum having a Pavilion Txxx series PC to Crucial for compatible memory for quite a while.

Never got any negative feedback.

Crucial guarantees compatibility, this is all I can tell you.

Hi @Cilas

My pleasure.

It is best to use a kit of two sticks from the same manufacturer. You might have a problem if you mix the HP memory with Crucial memory.

Let the Forum know how the memory upgrade goes.
