From what I can see from the specs for the motherboard, I don't see any problem with using the cooler. However, I suggest contacting Gigabyte's Tech Support just to be safe.
HP has their motherboards made to their specs. Therefore, some of the connectors on the case may not be compatible with the connectors on the new motherboard.
