Hello @EseMen

It will fit, but not guaranteed to play well with the other existing stick.

You need to measure the timings of the original stick thats installed first.

Use a free tool like CPUz or Speccy to look up the frequencies.

This corsair ram is DDR4 2400 and  has timings of 16-16-16-39 latency.

You need to match the timings of your existing ram to make sure it will work in Dual Channel Mode with the new stick.

The manual says it has DDR4 2666 installed.

Here is your manual for your series laptop, page 40... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06219881

I don't think you understood my previous post. Only you can determine if it will be compatible by reading the timings of the original stick that you are going to put the new one with.

You need to measure the timings of the original stick that's installed first.

Use a free tool like CPUz or Speccy to look up the frequencies.

CPUz download....  https://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.89-en.zip

Here is an example of what to look for with the existing ram...

There are 4 sets of numbers, in this example the timings are 17-17-17-39.

Run this tool on your computer and see what the timings are.

Then look for a DDR4 2666 ram stick with the same timings.

my timings were  19 19 19 43 clocks

OK two reasons that kingston ram wont work. The timings are wrong for dual channel and its made for desktops, not laptops.

What is the full Product Number of your laptop? You can run the HP Support Assistant and find the number.

Edit: if you have the 15-dc0000 series, this would work with the existing ram you have.

Didnt find one in Amazon for Mexico, but I found this one on New Egg that ships from US to MX.

You need one like this...

OK then. My answer still applies above.

The ram I linked to will work.
