I have the omen desktop with the IPM17-002 motherboard and online it says it takes m2 ssd and when you look on the board you can see where the **bleep** for it would be but it’s empty. Is there a way to fix it or add one?

What is the model/product of your Omen machine ? Please check its label at its back.
Regards.

That is an invalid number. Please use the following instructions to find out the model/product of your machine:

Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).
Regards.

That motherboard is the Odense2-K (IPM17-002) for your Omen 870-224.
Its an older setup that didnt come with an M.2 slot for an SSD. Only has the M.2 A keyed slot. Sorry.
