can i remove my 828A mother board and put it in a new case

purchasing new graphics card, it wont fit in the current case. wondering if the mother board is hp specific or standard uATX; i want to move hardware into a new case.

What is the full model of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information.

There are a couple of things that you have to consider when moving a HP motherboard to a new case:

1) HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as a retail board.

2) The front connectors on the HP case may not be the same as those on a retail case.  Thus, making it difficult to connect the power button, etc.

These two things have caused other members problems in the past when changing cases.  If you decide to upgrade the case, I suggest contacting the manufacturer's Tech Support to see if they can assure you that their case will work with your motherboard.
