Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0010
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, so I was wondering if the mobo on this desktop will support zen 2 gen cpus, I was thinking on upgrading to a ryzen 5 3600, but I don't know if it is supported by the mobo. if is not then I'll upgrade to a ryzen 7 2700.

Hello @samsanmartin 

 

Looks like HP didn't put out a bios update to accept Zen2 on that older board.

Better stay with the list that shows what actually is compatible.
