Hi @bubbahalford90,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I see from the post that you are having issues while launching some games. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
Let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the notebook: A power reset (or hard restart) clears all information from the computer's memory without erasing any personal data. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to update the Bios, Chipset drivers and graphics card drivers for your PC, from our HP support website, using this link.
Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.
Once it's done, go ahead and restart the computer.
- Firstly, Uninstall the game.
- Restart the Computer.
- Re-install the game in which you had this issue.
Here's a related Forums post which seem to have helped others: Click here (The above link is 3rd party and is not owned by HP, I've posted this only so that I may help you resolve this issue by going beyond by support boundaries, please ignore the ads and take only the free suggestions)
Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

thanks mate the first game with errors is now running fine after a hard reset/reinstalation of windows 10, im sure the rest will run fine too. im still not to sure on what was causing the error codes, and i wish i had posted on this support site sooner rather than else where as spending hours every night trying everything and getting nowhere was very frustrating, and in the end a simple reinstall is what was needed, im very gratefull for the support.
many thanks chris collins
