how much noise

omen 880
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Thinking of buying an Omen 880  

Can someone tell me how noisy the fans are  and electrical  consumption on general use not in gaming mode

Fans are quiet. Just a little background hum.

 

Not sure about power consumption. I will say though that it works fine as a dual-purpose business and gaming PC; that's how I use mine. It's great for video editing, image editing etc.

@acfrance, welcome to the forum.

 

I agree fully with @onlyconnect statement on the noise level.  I believe you would be surprised at how quiet it is.  I have had three Omen computers (1 Notebook and 2 desktops).  They all have been extremely quiet.

 

As for the power consumption, the Omen 880 is a Configure To Order (CTO) model.  The power consumption would vary based on the processor, amount of memory and the video card.  I believe it has a 500W power supply unit (PSU).  You can decide which components you want and use power consumption calculator to determine the amount of power will be used.
