I know that you want to add a different motherboard to your HP case, but here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will help you know the possible problems: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Knowledge-Base/Moving-HP-Motherboard-to-a-new-gaming-case/ta-p/...

 

The article discusses moving the HP motherboard to a different case, but you will have the same concerns; the stand-offs matching the holes in the motherboard and the front case connectors being compatible.  Once you know the possible problems, your best option would be to contact Gigabyte's Tech Support to see if they can verify that their motherboards will be compatible with HP's case.
