HP Pavilion 590-p0040

i have a HP Pavilion 590-p0040 i was wondering so i do not need to buy a new mother board if i got a case that can support the motherboard size and a normal powersupply of of amazon can i make the swap and leave behind the stock case and power supply?

Hi,

 

The MB does have proprietary PSU and front panel connections. It does not have an industry standard 24 power supply connector and the front panel I/O is integrated in the MB.

 

This part (MB) only works with HP cases and HP power supplies.

 

You would have to replace the MB and the power supply if you change the case.
