hello, since someone hacked my microsoft account i can’t recover my bitlocker recovery key and now i’m stuck here without a recovery key and being unable to open my sistem, can i have some help with this? my pc is an HP Omen 40L

Hi:

 

You'll have to reinstall Windows on the encrypted hard drive in order to use your PC again.

 

Without the BitLocker recovery key, all data on the drive cannot be recovered.

 

See if your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

 

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

If you have to use the tool on another PC you will need to enter the full product number of the PC you have in the tool's search window in order to proceed.
