Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs page for your PC.

You can find the list of supported processors under the Processor Upgrade Information section...

https://support.hp.com/rs-en/document/c05591683

It does not list the i7-7500 as a supported processor.

I believe the i7-7500 can only be used in notebook and all in one PC's.

It is soldered to the motherboard.

The question is for i5-7500, not i7-7500

Yes the Intel Core i5-7400 (Kabylake) 3.0 GHz Quad Core 65W can be used.

Is this what you are asking?

I’m asking for i5-7500, not i5-7400

@ivicas...Look at your first post...

I cannot answer questions correctly when you post a subject line that is different than the body of your post.

It's one or the other...there are i5-7500's and i7-7500's (used in notebook PC's and all in one deskop PC's).

...and I quote you...can I use cpu intel i7-7500 to Slimline 270-p043w

I have already given you the list of supported processors.

If you want to install the i5-7500, it will be a complete gamble on your part, since it is not listed as a supported processor.

If your PC's BIOS does not contain the microcode for the i5-7500, it won't work, and there is no way we can tell you if it does or not.

Is there any Bios update if current version don’t support i5-7500 cpu
