Subject: Warranty period showing incorrect despite extension

Message:
Hello Team,

I purchased my laptop in January 2025, and on the same day I also purchased the extended warranty. However, when I check the warranty status on your website/system, it is only showing coverage until September 2025, which is incorrect.

I have both documents as proof:

  1. The original purchase invoice of my laptop.

  2. The extended warranty receipt purchased on the same day.

Kindly update my warranty status as per the extension I purchased, and confirm the correct warranty period.

Hi:

 

This forum is a peer to peer forum.

 

We do not work for or represent HP.

 

HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.

 

So the longer the time elapses from assembly date to the purchase date, the less time remains on the warranty.

 

Please contact HP customer service beginning at the link below and submit a support request to have the warranty start and end dates adjusted to the date you purchased the notebook.
