low graphic card games lagging and stuttering on 1440×900p resolution

Ati radeon hd 5450 2gb
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
hi i have ati radeon hd 5450 2gb graphic card with 4gb of ram and intel i3 3210 3.20ghz processor and full hd led compaq 'b201' monitor with 1440×900p resolution. Now my question is that when i play games on high resolution in 1440p it starts lag and stutter games like crisis 2 etc i mean low graphic requires games i dont know it's my monitor'fault or something else i had preveviously lg monitor but the games run perfectly and smoothly on it.that was not lcd or led and hd monitor. one thing i didn't understand yet that is if the requires low graphic card like 1gb or 512mb then the games should run perfectly in 1440p resolution like on my pc which specifications are bigger than games like crisis 2 assassin creed 1 and other low graphic card games.i dont know it's actually happe ning because of my monitor.i tried many softwares like razor,riva tuner,3d analyzer,gamegain etc.but the problem is still there.one more thing if you guys have any information regarding Compaq b201 monitor please tell me the solution so that i fix my monitor setting. now you guys please tell me what should I do to stop lagging and stuttering in 1440p high resolution. thanks in advance.

The thing with Minimum Requirements are that they do not mean, or imply, that the game will run 'perfect' so long as you meet them. It will meant that it will run with that hardware and usually with the lowest settings, and minimal resolution.

Did your previous monitor have a lower resolution?

Your equipment does meet the minimums. When you are just hitting the minimums, you'll need to run these games on low to very low graphic settings. When gamers like us look at games and graphics cards we have to consider graphic quality, performance, and price. RIght now you should be able to get enough performance to play the games if you sacrifice quality in rendering. If you want to run these games with great looking graphics while not experiencing skips, tearing, or lag, you're going to need to look at upgrading that graphics card.

@Babneet

Hi,

Please post the HP product number for your PC. How to Find the HP Model Number and the HP Product Number or let HP automatically find your PC model number and HP network attached printers. This will allow others to review your issue, make suggestions and review your responses. This is usually the best way to get assistance.

We are missing your make and model of PC.  If you supply this information along with the power supply wattage size in your PC I am sure that we can recommend a graphics card that is better than the AMD 5450 card that you are using.

My experience with Crysis is that it will also bury your CPU utilization.  Additionally, you may have to back off the game settings (try medium or low).
