OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 870-244

It took me a few years but i finally figured out how to turn off the led lights in front of my computer. they were cool at first but started to get annoying. another few years went by with them off and i thought nothing of it, but today a lightning storm happened and my computer turned off. my UPS didn't work for some reason but that's not the problem. the problem is when i turned the computer back on the lights came back on. Normally when this happens, i open omen control to turn them off again and it works, but this time it didn't. everything else is working just fine. i tried downloading omen gaming hub but when i do it won't open. after trying to figure out that problem for a few hours and trying to find omen command center and failing at both, i gave up and decided to post here. Last time i did it worked out for me and i finally turned them off. I didn't think a few led lights could cause me so much trouble but any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!!!

hi

I have encountered this problem before
problem, no download from the product page
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-870-200/13687063
what has been tried downloading from the net, failure
What worked, provided you still had the original system, and therefore the recovery option usable, was reinstalling the app from the software
(however, I don't know if one is enough)

Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 10)

be careful, I am talking about applications and drivers here, not a factory recovery!

I found one from this support site and i tried it again and i couldn't get the file for it, so i don't know what to do. i don't know what you mean by having the original system, but i would guess that means i don't
