Product: HP Slimline Desktop 290-p0043w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i need to change the PSU in my HP Slimline Desktop 290-p0043w but i want more than the standard 180w. i need a minimum of 300w. been looking for days and cant seem to find the right one.

@AKsuperbeast907 , welcome to the forum.

 

Your motherboard is HP proprietary with a 4-pin power connector.  The only power supply units (PSU) that will work are made by HP.  Unfortunately, I could not find one anywhere.  There are no adapters that will work that I have found.

If you look at the bottom of the board you will see the 4-pin main power connector.
