Hey there, so I have a really old 2009 PC which I used to play games on, but its video card busted so it doesn't really do much when connected to the monitor.

I have a ton of old photos saved on there into the hard drive that I wanna retrieve, how could I do this?
*note, it does not turn on when connected to monitor!

It is not ON now therefore the simplest option is to use its HDD as an external HDD. This allows you to connect to any machine to access your photos. Please

  (a) Buy an external USB - SATA adapter or enclosure (3.5")

             https://www.mwave.com.au/hdds/external-hdd-enclosures

  (b) Pull out HDD on machine and put it to the enclouse

  (c) Now you can connect to any machine thru USB port to read old HDD

Regards.
