Pc is HP Omen 875-00xx. How many amps does a HP OEM 500W PSU produce? Was thinking of upgrading to 3060 ti but first wanted to find out if I’m gonna need a new psu. Thank you in advance

Hi

Graphics cards and the CPU both run on the 12 volt rail. You would have to check the HP power supply for total watts available on this rail.

I don't know if HP provides this information.

Then amps are derived by dividing total watts available by the AC line voltage. In the US the line voltage is 110 watts or 120 watts. 500 watts/110 = 4.555 amps.

The 3060 Ti requires a minimum 600 watt power supply.
