Open screen saver or change time and date get a rundll32.exe error cannot access device, path or file. You may not have the apropriate permissions.

Hi

 

You may have system file corruption.

 

Try running the MS System File Checker.

I've done this before and windows found no integrity violations.

Okay.

 

Try running HP System Diagnostics.

 

HDD or memory problems can cause this type of stuff.

 

Have you tried doing a MS System Restore using a point prior to when this started happening?
