Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC TG01-1000i (8BG55AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

gaming pc only 9 months old, stuttering in games due to CPU being at 100% load, but idling at around 5%.  This is has only been happening over the past week, any suggestions please?  Thank you in advance!

I see you are experiencing CPU issues with the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop PC. I apologize for the Inconvenience. 

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date. 
  • Try doing Reset PC Keep my files and check if it works fine. 
  • Also follow the instructions from this link
