Hi.
I've recently bought new Gaming PC - Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0783nw PC . From the start, I've heard the sound of electricity crackling – short and at random times (no relation with CPU usage etc., for example it appears when I browse the Internet). I tried to switch the power cable but it doesn't change anything.
First I called the HP Support Centre and explained the problem to the employee. He said that this problem can appear due to devicie specification and I should contact HP when the sound changes. After 2 days it became more frequent so I decided to contact HP Center again and they took my PC to the Service Centre.
They replaced 2 parts of PC:
1) System cooling fan,
2) Intel processor heat sink assembly.
I thought the problem was gone but it seems to have appeared again - I don't know if that should worry me or if it appears in every PC from this branch. Should I call the Support Centre again?
Here is the sound I've recorded (2 times short sound, and the last one is a bit longer):
