15-cx0470nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!
I bought a HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0470nd laptop earlier this year, and today after a few hours of gaming i wanted to close the laptop. The laptop made a cracking sound (like pulling 2 parts apart that have been glued together) and i saw that the screen part of the laptop was a bit bend, when i opened it back up and let it cool i saw that i had to click the bottem part of the screen part back in place and now the screen is where it should be again. But even when cooled down the adhesive doesnt work as good as it did before and i also get these marks on my screen as if something pressed on it. (lighter adn darker areas on the screen) Does anyone else experience this? Is this a build mistake? Or is my specific laptop just crap? I hope to hear other experiences with this laptop or how you dealt with this issue. Thanks in advance for replying!

Hello @jaapje1988

You might have a hinge issue also, Just guessing as I'm not the to actually see whats going on.

I would contact HP Support for warranty and explain what is happening. I would let them replace the adhesive on the bezel if that's all that's  wrong. If you do it and accidentally bork something, it wont be covered in the warranty.
