Product: HP Laptop - 17z-ca200 CTO

My 17Z CA200 screen suddenly showed LOCKING and the laptop immediately shut down and will not turn on.  The power light is not on even though it is plugged in.  Troubleshooting tip said disconnect power cord and remove battery. I don't see the battery compartment anywhere. How do I remove the battery?
