Hi, I couldn't find a board that seemed appropriate for my question so I hope this is okay to post here. 

 

I recently ordered and received a HP Laptop and when I placed the order, the laptop picture advertisement had a note in the right hand corner saying that it 'Included a 3 Year Care Pack' (I still have a picture of this for reference)

 

However, I have not received any other communication regarding this and when I check my warranty, it says my laptop is under warranty for 1 year. I'm having trouble contacting HP support and them getting back to me so I'm just wondering exactly what is going on here?

Did you actually pay for that ? Do you have your machine now ? You can use HPSA to check warranty. For example my machine

my machine actually had 38 months, expired one month ago.

Thank you for replying. I didn't pay for a care pack because the laptop was advertised on the same day I placed my order with '3 Year Care Pack Included' (I still have the picture and date of screenshot to prove this too) 

 

I've checked my warranty and it only covers it for the year though and really, if I buy an item that is advertised with a 3 Year Cover then that's what I expect to get. I'm sure you understand.

This forum is for you and me. Please talk with HP DIRECTLY to raise your case. In my case, the product itself has 3 years warranty, not thru Care Pack. As you can see, after I registered HP gave me 2 more months.
