Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently done a full system format on my 1200 dollar gaming laptop because it was cluttered and slow but when I open games such as Battlefield 1 / Battlefield 5 i get around 40 fps on low settings, I paid a luxury for this and my performance seems to not be satisfying, Is there a option in my laptop model to increase the performance? I also seen other people with my same laptop model reporting a good 90 fps on battlefield 5 ultra settings but i get 40 fps on low

Ill list specs here in case someone needs it:

HP Omen 15-dc0082TX Bought at 1200 dollars

i7-8750H

Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

8GB RAM

And also I did the HP Support assistant tune-up check let me make that very clear as someone's gonna give me that reply

1200 dollars for 40 fps on low settings ;-;

I just realised my antivirus was in the background eating up 4 gigs of ram and 50% cpu for a background scan, when I force closed it, BFV runs at a manageable 25 fps on low settings

This serves as a lesson TO NEVER EVER USE MCAFEE DEFAULT ANTIVIRUS

Have you tried playing while plugging in the battery? My gaming laptop caps its fps when playing while not being charged.

I did try that but it still gives me 45 fps on lowest settings also removing the charger would lower it to like 5 fps but no stutters

since no one is replying here i guess i could say i got cheated/scammed by HP, nice discovery i made

very good overpricing, 1050 Ti for 1200 dollars and just 8 gb of ram? What are you pea-headed insects thinking when pricing this? i expected the price to be around 600 dollars for these specs, i am never buying any garbage from HP again

now this thread is gonna be shut down as they can't take criticism, just so you know you disappointed a 8-year hp fan

go on YouTube and find how remove the blot wear and what other setting you can turn off on your laptop and play your game on lower setting in game will help you with your fps hope this put in the right direction
