Adding ram to the HP Pavillion 15-cx0020nr Gaming Laptop

HP Pavillion 15-cx0020nr Gaming Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greeting everyone,

I just ordered a Pavillion Gaming laptop (HP Pavillion 15-cx0020nr) Gaming Laptop from amazon, it will be here in two days. I'm getting conflicting information regarding the upgrading of the ram from 8 to 16. Does anyone know if this is upgradable? I would be surprised if it is not, it is marketed as a gaming laptop and I would imagine the more ram the better. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Your manual says:

Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM:

But because of your CPU and Memory type you should be able to extend that to 32GB (2x16)

Memory Remove/Replace starts on page 43.
