Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

newest Omen 15

same problem like here

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Notebooks/After-Bios-update-the-Bios-administrator-password-is-...

(for some reason the above thread is locked, so cannot reply directly there)

Cannot power-on / boot the system:  "The password is incorrect. Try again."

I was updating the BIOS from F.08 to F.16.

As per revision history, F.16 new feature is:

"Provides improved security. "

Is this "improved security" the feature which now blocks any incl. the correct bios password?

What am i supposed to do now?

Thanks.

Please note:

I'm entering the password in a exactly same way like before bios update, when it worked.

Please note;

I have NOT forgotten the password.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
