Hi 

i update bios using the hp support and then after it wont show in on system information it showing the previous version how do i update

Thank you for posting back. 

 

Use a second working computer with Internet access to download the BIOS update. Copy the update file to a USB flash drive and install it on the original computer.
BIOS Update: Follow steps from the link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00042629 ( refer to Update the BIOS manually from a USB Flash drive (outside of Windows)
