Hey everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with performance settings on my HP gaming laptop and was wondering if anyone here has found the best balance between visuals and FPS for modern titles.

I’ve tried tweaking power plans, disabling background services, and adjusting in-game graphics, but the results vary a lot depending on the game.

Do you guys use any specific HP utilities or BIOS settings to boost performance without overheating the system?
Would love to hear what’s worked best for others in the community.

Thanks in advance!

@JennysMods,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, I would start off by applying the optimization suggestions offered in this somewhat dated YouTube video -but still applicable, including for Windows 11: 🔧 How to Optimize Windows 10 For GAMING & Performance in 2019 The Ultimate Updated GUIDE.

Kind Regards,
