whenever i connect headphone or earphone to my laptop and start some media to play, whether it is offline or online, there has been an audio delay of about 2 to 3 seconds. The issue happens only with the earphones or headphones, because the internal speaker works efficiently. Please help me

Hi @Anand_-007
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
- In Windows, type find and fix audio into Search, or right-click the speaker icon
in the taskbar and select Troubleshoot sound problems. - Select Find and fix audio playback problems or Find and fix audio recording problems from the Search results.
- Click Next.
- Select the device you want to troubleshoot and click Next.
- Wait while the troubleshooter detects problems and makes changes (or prompts you to make changes).
Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
Also, check for any pending windows update. Reboot the PC and check for the issue.
