All the solutions that were mentioned there didn't work. The only thing that did work is switching the driver of Realtek Audio device in the device manager from Realtek drivers to Intel HD audio driver for Display audio by unchecking "Show compatible hardware".  However, this solution is suboptimal as Intel drivers are also quiet silent (not as silent as Realtek driver malfunctioning, but silent compared to normally working Realtek driver). Otherwise I tried around 5 different versions of Realtek drivers and the issue appear with all of them.

Kindly refer to the steps on this https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_4129273-2331498-16 to update BIOS and let me know if that fixes the issue.

BIOS update was one of the first things I have done. I have the latest version for my laptop - F.44
