Automatic multiple redirections to help center link about 10-15 times. This happened regularly till I ended the chrome task from task manager. Later it was fine. Is this normal sometimes ?

@Raghav08, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with your HP Victus laptop. Typically, automatic multiple redirections to links such as a help center are not normal behavior, especially if it happens frequently and requires ending tasks in the task manager to stop it.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check for Browser Extensions: Sometimes extensions in your browser can cause unusual behavior. Make sure you check for and disable any suspicious or unnecessary extensions.

Clear Cache and Cookies: Deleting cached files and cookies can sometimes resolve browser-related problems.

Update Your Browser: Ensure that your Chrome browser is up-to-date with the latest version available.

Scan for Malware: Use antivirus software to scan your computer for malware or potentially unwanted programs that could be causing these redirects.

Update Device Drivers: Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause unexpected behavior. Ensure all drivers, especially network drivers, are up-to-date.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
