Hello all,

 

First of all, I am from the Netherlands so all of what I'm saying is relevant only for the Netherlands as I don't have experience with the situation in other countries. I've been interested in the 2020 HP Omen 15 with the Ryzen 7 4800h and RTX 2060, specifically the variant with a 144Hz screen as well . I've been waiting ever since the release of the laptop 5 months ago and it has been listed as "currently unavailable" in the HP store ever since. I called Customer Support 1.5 months ago and they assured me that the 15th of December the laptop would be available finally in the Netherlands. However, as of the making of this thread, the laptop still isn't available. I called Customer Support once again and they said that the laptop has been delayed, while other Dutch websites have other variants of the Ryzen 7 Omen 15 in stock even when on the HP website it says unavailable for these other variants. Alas, the one I am interested in (with the 144Hz screen) is only listed in the HP store. 

 

I have been waiting for so long and in other places in the world it seems like the laptop is widely available.  When can I expect to finally be able to get the variant I am interested in? I can't seem to get any assurance as the one time I got a date, this seems to have been pushed back either way. How can this be such a large issue that almost half a year after a laptop's supposed release it's still not available?. I'm really considering going with another brand because at this rate I might as well wait for the next generation of laptops in 2021.

I have placed an order 3 weeks ago in Portugal for the exact same notebook variant, the HP OMEN 15-EN0007NP and still waiting... (with no apologies or update message!!!)
