Product: OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop 16-k0000 (594K0AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My battery life is terrible on my omen 16. I have tried optimizing all the battery settings, turning off hardware accelerated features, setting the refresh rate to 60 hz and checking to make sure firefox my primary browser isn't using the gpu for whatever reason. Despite this I consistently get less than 4 hours of battery life, usually between 2-3 on my month old Omen just using firefox with the brightness on medium/low. My hp app says that the battery is perfectly healthy. So what is the deal?

For an Omen machine, over 2hrs is good. My machine only gave over 2 hrs after opening the box and charged to 100% the first time.  After my test,  I put it on AC 100%.
