My Battery discharging percentage are not showing in my laptop and because of that i couldn't know how much battery has left and then my laptop shuts down abruptly even though i enabled to show a message of low battery at 20% in win 10 setting and power options also no discharging prediction comes using device for various purpose but battery percentage remains constant with the last amount of charging percentage like if i charged my device till 50% and then unplug the charger then this percentage still remains constant even though with extended amount of usage and then laptop shuts off abruptly and wont open when again put charger then shows battery 0% and charging and percentage starts going up.

Hi@ayushs23,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the Battery on the Victus By HP 16.1 Inch Gaming Laptop PC. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

I have a few recommendations

  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • For Testing and Calibrating the Battery please click this link

Try changing the power mode to "Balanced" or "Better Performance" as the default setting.

Go to "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options" > "Change plan settings" > "Change advanced power settings"
Scroll down, click on "Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Setting" > "Config TDP Level",
Then select the middle value for both "On Battery" and "Plugged In".
Scroll further down. Select "Processor power management";
Then select "Maximum processor state";
Change the value from 100% to 96% for both "On Battery" and "Plugged In" options.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
