Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,
I am wondering how to maintain the battery life of the Omen 15 (r7 4800H/2060).
What to do when editing videos or games for example ?
Use the battery ? Connect the power supply ?
Does a constantly connected power supply affect the battery negatively ?
At home, can the laptop be connected to the AC adapter all the time?
