Hi @sahil444,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand you purchased your HP laptop from Flipkart in January 2025, but the HP warranty check shows it expired in December 2023, and now you’re facing a battery health issue.
Let's try a few troubleshooting steps:
1. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
Restart the laptop and press Esc repeatedly.
Press F2 → choose Component Tests → Battery Test.
Note down the battery status and failure ID (if any).
2. Check Battery Health in Windows
Press Win + X → choose Windows PowerShell (Admin).
Type: powercfg /batteryreport → press Enter.
Open the generated battery-report.html file to check capacity vs. design.
3. Update BIOS & Drivers
Go to HP Support.
Enter your laptop model → download and install the latest BIOS update and HP System Diagnostics.
Restart and retest the battery.
4. Calibrate the Battery
Charge the laptop to 100%, then keep charging for 2 more hours.
Disconnect and use the laptop on battery until it shuts down automatically.
Recharge it to 100% without interruptions.
This helps Windows re-learn accurate battery percentage.
5. Use HP Battery Health Manager (if available in BIOS)
Restart → press Esc → F10 (BIOS setup).
Look for Battery Health Manager under Advanced/Power settings.
Set to Maximize Battery Health.
