Hi! The official HP page said you should charge your laptop for 24 h the first time Charging it! 

Now if they said it, it must be true, I guess. But why 24 hours ? I just charged mine today but only up to 100%. It think it was plug in for like 5 hours

 

should charge it like the Hp page says?

You can charge and use your machine after opening the box. The charging process will stop when battery is full and machine will use main until the next cycle. Please use the following guide to keep battery healthy
