Hi,
I purchased this laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0011nl) last Black Friday. 3 months ago while watching a movie it is closed suddenly with a burnt smell. Couldn’t open afterwards, contacted with support.
They fixed it by changing motherboard. (It was burnt and replaced.)
After the fix, i felt like it has been overheating while playing games. (Dota 2) Gpu was ok but Cpu was the problem. (It even reached 94-95 celsius degrees many times)
Today, i Was checking news and watching some Youtube channels, and it suddenly closed again. A small smoke came out from front panel (down of the screen). It wasn’t even hot enough to be burnt. Unplugged Ac cord, tried to soft reset but couldn’t boot it. 2 hours later, tried to open, OS was booted but the battery is not charging anymore.
Tried AC adaptor with another Hp laptop, it is functioning well. Also tried other ac and cord, still my laptop is not charging. Looks like again motherboard had some issues.
How is it possible a new laptop, especially calling itself a ‘gaming laptop’ can be this much bad and its motherboard can be burnt or broken twice. It still has guarantee, but it will expire soon. If it happens again after guarantee expires, do i have to pay every time it is broken?
Please advice what i should do.
Thanks
Fatih
