OMEN by HP 15-dc1001ne
Microsoft Windows 11

My old battery wore out and was replaced by a new original battery.
The new battery worked for a bit but after around 2 month the laptop battery life was very small (lasts max 10 minutes and shuts off) and when laptop is turned on again following error message pops up: CMOS Reset 502.

Battery will not exceed 24% even if plugged in without using.

I tried all suggested answers in the forums but I can not seem to identify the problem.

I followed all the steps until step 5.
The LED indicator is white immediately (which indicates full charge), however this can’t be true as battery was at about 20%.
How do I proceed?

      • An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
      • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
