Battery light blinking red/amber when charger plugged in.

HP Recommended

So I dropped water in my bag, which happened to have my HP omen laptop. Currently I am drying it as much as possible. The thing is while cleaning the laptop with a towel, I open the laptop lid and it booted up until the omen logo and immediately shuts down (I don't know if this is due to water or due to the low battery). Now that I am charging the laptop, the battery light is blinking amber/red (every 3-4 seconds).

What should I do?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this sounds like hardware related issue with the computer.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
