Battery swollen on Omen 17-W105NF

HP Recommended
Omen 17-W105NF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The battery on my Omen 17-W105NF has swollen (again, I had to replace it after 18 months already). My computer is out of warranty.
I have a few questions:

  • as it seems to be a widespread issue (every 18 months for me), will HP repair my computer? Or at least provide a replacement battery?
  • if not, where can I find a replacement battery? I have the spare part number (853294-855), but I'm unable to find it on reliable B2C vendors who delivers in France. Are there recommended B2C vendors for HP spare parts in France?
  • in the meantime, can I remove the battery and keep using the computer? The battery removal procedure is a bit long (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05260118 p35), so I'd rather not do it if the computer will not work anyway after the battery removal.

Thanks in advance for your help.
