Product: Omen 15 dc0051nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Any recommendations on a docking station to use for the DC0051NR Omen 15 laptop?

Ideally something my child can use at the desk to avoid plugging-unplugging a lot of devices into the sockets on the laptop directly.  This to avoid problems with the ports on the laptop getting broken.  Headphones, mouse, keyboard, readers, etc. 

If it's one that has video output, even better.  As at some point it might be useful to set up a display there and use the laptop as just a CPU.  

I'm just unclear on what docks and protocols are effectively supported on this particular model.  Thunderbolt (2 or 3?) USB-C, etc.  Likewise, can this be powered from a docking station or will it always require using it's own power connection?  (Which is fine, I'd just like to know ahead of time before bothering to get a dock with power supply features).

Prime features would include headphone, single (NOT VGA) digital display (but wouldn't refuse dual) and a power button to allow activating the setup with the laptop in a closed condition.

Suggestions?  Or maybe which docks to AVOID?
